Tasting Notes
The Westland American Single Malt Peated Whiskey is developed for two years in new American Oak and First Fill ex-Bourbon barrels, the nose begins off with a nuttiness joined by seething greenery and blazed orange peel. The peat jumps from the sense of taste, communicating open air fire notes, iodine, and simmered pistachios. With time, the seething greenery on the nose advances into consuming coals and cooked plantains.
