The Macallan Exceptional Single Cask 2017/Esh-11648/08 Ltd Edition Cask Strength Single Malt Scotch Whisky 700mL @ 64.4%

Initially accessible in the UK and parts of Asia, the “Extraordinary Single Cask” arrangement was propelled in 2017, with all whiskies completely developed in Sherry-prepared barrels filled somewhere in the range of 1995 and 2004 and with age articulations going from 12 to 22 years.
Refined in 2004 and packaged in December 2017 after development in an European Oak Sherry butt, Exceptional cask No.8 produced only 304 bottles. Effectively one of the most profound, darkest shades of any in the arrangement up until now, demonstrating enormous sherry input.
Notes from Macallan… Rich dried natural product with raisins, sweet blackcurrants, vanilla and nutmeg. Dried foods grown from the ground zest. Long, sweet squeezed natural product.
