HH0106 was distilled in December of 1999 and decanted in June of 2018 for a maturation of eighteen years and six months, making this one of the oldest single cask whisky ever released by Sullivans Cove.
This American oak ex-bourbon cask yielded only 215 bottles at 47.5% abv. This delightfully complex and textural whisky’s fruit and fresh grain notes defy it’s proud position as one of the oldest Australian single malt whiskies ever released.
Each bottle comes in a unique, hand made, solid oak presentation box, and includes a letter of authenticity signed by Master Distiller Patrick Maguire and Production Manager Heather Tillott.
Nose: Banana, walnut, crème caramel, liquorice, kumquats, black pepper, camphor, and antique oak.
Palate: Creamy and sweet with flavours of banofee pie, meringue, macadamias, sweet pastry, toffee apple, and milk chocolate fudge.
Finish: Vanilla, coconut and preserved fruits with a malty cocoa line that drives the finish and lingers almost indefinitely.
