THE NIKKA 12 YEAR OLD, created due to the end of the Taketsuru 12 year old production. Nikka returns to business with this new edition of its flagship lighthouse. The Nikka 12-year-old Premium Blend Whisky, for the full name, is a Japanese whisky blend with a part of Yoichi, for its peaty side, and another of Miyagikyo, for its delicate and fruity aromas. The 12-year-old Nikka enjoys a very wide range of aromatic properties. Fruity with notes of toffee and caramel.
Nose: Powerful and spicy, with notes of green pepper and red fruits. It evolves on caramel and nutmeg.
Palate: Rich and greedy on fruits like Granny Smith apple. In the background, one appreciates pastry notes, caramel and sweet spices.
Finish: Fresh, warm, rich, with subtle sweetness.
