The Elephant in the Room wines are proudly large in scale and expansive in flavour. Ignoring fashion and braving the scorn “wine thought police” Elephant in the Room was created to give wine loving consumers exactly what they want – full flavoured and mouth-filling wines that deliver maximum pleasure. Each wine is sourced from premium slow-ripening cool climate vineyards across South Australia by Corey Ryan.

Tasting Note: Although not in fashion, we think big-flavoured wines deserve a comeback. This Super Duper Pinot Noir is a perfect example of what a wine drinker wants and not what the wine police tell us it should be. Everything we love about Pinot but dialled up to 11 on the flavour control button. Aged in small oak barrels, it’s generous and opulent with an unfashionable amount of flavour. Vibrant with dark cherry and hints of briar with a hint of spicy oak. The palate is poised, polished and precise with good complexity and concentration. Pair with crispy duck pancakes.
