This “Edition Yamazakura” is based on “Edition No.1”, which is an exquisite blend of malt from Nagahama Distillery based on overseas malt whiskey, and has been post-ripened with “Yamazakura” native to Japan. “Edition Yamazakura” is characterized by a pleasant fragrance reminiscent of a fragrant tree wearing “Japanese” and a gentle finish.
TASTING NOTE
The appearance is reddish amber. While retaining the malty sweetness of Nagahama malt, it has a sweet, gentle and beautiful scent with a product derived from wild cherry blossoms. “Wa” flavor reminiscent of sakura mochi and plum. Gentle orange peel and black honey peculiar to the Amahagan series, and a gorgeous and elegant sweetness that spreads in the mouth. After-sales comes with a pleasant astringency like black tea.
